ROVEL JSC

        ROVEL college is owned by the private joint-stock company ROVEL, established on June 20, 1995 in Sofia, aiming at the foundation and management of a modern building based on the European standard for educating  students from the 1st to the 12th grade.

         The school was built during the period November 1st 1996 and September 1st 1998.

 

Financing

         The project was financially supported by its 128 shareholders. The market evaluation of the company is more than three million Euro.

         The company has no liabilities neither to legal entities/physical people nor to the state.

 

Location

         The school complex is situated at its own real estate of 9000 square meters, in one of the most preferable areas around Sofia city, on a hill between the ring road and the town of Bankya . This location was chosen according to the following criteria:

•  eco-area, not far away from the city
•  fast transport
•  well organized infrastructure
• wonderful view to the city as well as to Vitosha and Lulin Mountains

The free spaces surrounding the school area can be used  for the future expanding of the complex and reorganizing it into “Euro Educational Center”

 

The building

         The school is a large, monolith, modern 5-floor building with a total area of 5580 square meters. It has its own electrical supply and security. It was built during the period between October 1996 and September 1998.

 

Functional arrangement

         When planning the building,  a special attention was paid to the  interior arrangement and the possibilities for future development of the complex which can be used for seminars, conferences as well as for relaxation.

         The building has:

• 36 large class rooms;
•  consulting room ;
• indoor swimming pool;
• gymnasium ;
• sports complex: a tennis court, basketball and volleyball grounds;
• fitness centre;
• kitchen and canteen;
• cafe;

         Rovel  “Euro school complex” is meant to be  a unique comfortable and modern educational centre organised according to the norms and requirements of Ministry of education and science.

         Our aim is to co-operate with foreign colleges and schools. The school capacity is 320 students who are taught by highly qualified Bulgarian and foreign teachers. The syllabus includes all the obligatory subjects.  Our main priorities are Computer Studies and early foreign language learning. The sports and entertainment facilities are completely utilized. The complex is also used for education of adults..

   The school day starts at 8.30  and finishes at 17.00 o' clock (half- day education  is also possible). We provide transport for both students and staff.
